The History of Cycle Performance Cycle Performance first opened it's doors in 1982 as a motorcycle repair and accessory store in Thomaston, CT. In 1984, we needed a larger facility and moved to a former automobile garage on Main Street in Thomaston. In 1987, we purchased Torrington Kawasaki/Suzuki and moved once again to East Main Street in Torrington and changed the name to "Cycle Performance". One year later, we had outgrown our space again and moved to the west end of town onto Route 4. Space soon became a problem again. We expanded what we could on Route 4 and kept our eyes open for a bigger facility. We finally found what we were looking for in Litchfield at a former lumber yard known as "Central Lumber". We completed the sale in January of 2000 and were open for business in our new location in July of 2000. We had 11,000 sq ft and thought we were all set for quite some time. That only lasted a few years. In the winter of 2003, we began our 3,000 sq ft addition and opened it in the spring of 2004. Here we are in 2008 in need of more space!

ATV Department We have such a large selection of ATVs, we made a special ATV section! With ATVs available from Suzuki and Yamaha, we are sure to have the right machine in stock for you.

That's why our factory certified technicians service your machine "by the book" to ensure you're getting the most out of your hard earned cash. With over 50 years of combined technical experience, we can easily handle any troubleshooting or diagnostic situations.
